Our Team
Adam Beavis
Adam graduated from Curtin University in 2004 and has over 17 years of experience in private practice.
Adam is a founding director and current practising senior physiotherapist at Kwinana Physiotherapy, Aubin Grove Physiotherapy and Harrisdale Physiotherapy.
Adam has extensive experience in treating all manner of musculoskeletal injuries, but has special interests in treating spinal, sporting and shoulder injuries. Adam also has considerable experience in exercise rehabilitation, as well as the assessment and treatment of workplace injuries.
Adam has lectured for Sports Medicine Australia on several occasions and runs the graduate clinical education program for Accelerate Health physiotherapists (a network of over 15 practices around Perth).
In his spare time, Adam enjoys surfing and basketball.
John Klauz
John has completed his Master’s degree in Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapy at Monash Physiotherapy, which makes him an expert in treating paediatric conditions such as torticollis, plagiocephaly, club foot, developmental delay and more.
John also has special interests in fracture management, crossfit and lifting-related injuries.
He has vast experience in both thermoplastic splinting and fibreglass casting and can make custom casts and splints for many different types of upper-limb and lower-limb fractures. John is an ex-elite distance runner, and in his spare time enjoys open-water swimming.
Matthew Hayes
Matt enjoys the variety physiotherapy brings but has special interests in knee rehabilitation following having had his own ACL reconstructions. Outside work Matt enjoys all sports but particularly football, cricket and soccer.
Kara Byrne
Kara is an experienced physiotherapist, having worked at both Aubin Grove and Kwinana Physiotherapy since 2010.
Kara has a special interest in women’s health and continence physiotherapy and can help with all your pelvic health needs, including Antenatal and Postnatal care, Continence Management (urinary frequency, urge incontinence and more), Pelvic Girdle Pain, Rectus Diastasis (Abdominal Separation), Mastitis/Blocked Ducts and more.
In her spare time, Kara enjoys spending time with her young family, including two beautiful daughters.
Murni Selemat
Murni was born in Singapore and moved to Perth in 2014 to pursue a career in physiotherapy.
Murni graduated from Curtin University in 2021 and began working in private practise in late 2022.
Murni has a special interest in managing acute and chronic back pain, following her own struggles with back pain growing up.
Murni is fluent in English, Malay, and Bahasa Indonesia.
She teaches Xtend Barre when she’s not in the clinic and enjoys Pilates and Spin classes!
Claudia Zilm
Claudia completed her Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University and has previously worked at our sister clinic Aubin Grove Physiotherapy.
Claudia has an interest in treating neck and shoulder pain and is the current team physiotherapist for our local Kwinana Knights football club.
Zoe Jacob
Zoe completed her remedial massage qualifications at the Australian Institute of Fitness in 2019.
Zoe uses a wide variety of techniques, including trigger point therapy, myofascial releases, deep tissue massage, cupping, and taping, to help get the best outcome for her clients.
Zoe is studying for a Bachelor in Health Science and a Masters in Occupational Therapy. You’ll find her in the gym, playing footy, or busy studying when she’s not at work.

Brenda Dixon
Brenda has been our practice manager for over 20 years. She is in fact the real boss, despite what Adam and John think.Brenda was born and raised in the Kwinana area, and is passionate about delivering the best services to its residents.In her free time Brenda loves to travel and spend time with her grandchildren.
